Fans in the east

Well, I figure Winnipeg is east, anyway. And that is where I gathered with several other Eskimo fans and one person cheering for Montreal just to spite us, to watch the 93rd Grey Cup game in Vancouver.

After a low-scoring start, this turned into one of the best CFL games I have ever seen. There was much yelling and pizza-eating and beer-drinking and hugging and anguish and joy among us fans. In the end, our Eskies came through 38-35 in OT. I knew you had it in you.

That game was AWESOME. We were all lying on the floor holding our heads in anguish when the Eskies fucked up that interception opportunity at the end of the game. God. Good thing they pulled it out.

PS.....class act of the year.....Jason Maas. Edmonton is stupid to trade him for Danny Mac. He'll be a star in Hamilton (if the rumours are true)

Sshhhh, Michelle! He might hear you with his superior dumbo ear hearing.

Check out my blog for pics of the new tattoo.

There is no way that those two good QBs should be on the same team, especially when there are players like Danny Mac who should DEFINITELY be riding the bench. I can't STAND that guy. Except when he's on the other team, then it's all good.

Anyway, it's easy to jump on the Maas bandwagon because everybody loves the underdog/backup saving the day. But I wouldn't have taken out Ray yesterday either, I called him to be MVP.

I agree with Maciocia playing Ricky the whole game...I'm just saying that an ordinary backup who helped his team get to the Grey Cup would have probably been a whole lot more bitter about NOT playing in the big game. At least if Jason Maas is here in the Hammertown, the games will actually be worth going to.

Oh, I think he was just as bitter. He just keeps it inside.

I would never bet on the Ticats being any good. Ever.
